My Theory on the "History of Relationships"

As noted in the "History of Humans;" people, as we live, think, and breathe today, were created to survive a damaged world. From day one for "our kind," the deck was stacked against us and we began our fight to not simply survive, but thrive. To do that, however, we began fighting for a place in a world we never belonged in. How do you think that happened? How do you really think we were able to evolve into the people we are today?

This was not just time and how evolution happens. For 4 billion years there was simply nature. Animal instincts, natural elements, and a basic "circle of life." Then something happened, on this earth, and here we are. A species, for the first time ever, evolving with the capabilities to actually build and destroy the earth. Why? We knew we may need to, to survive. How? Together of course.

Cheetahs can run really fast and tear you apart. Rabbits can hide in small places. Scorpions can poison you with their sting. However, people, can shoot the cheetah, trap the rabbit, and squash the scorpion with steel toed boots. When it rained we stopped running and started building shelters. We began making the world work for us, and stopped working for the world. This is how we became the people we are today. So why now, when we go out into the world today, do we ever believe we were meant to "fit into it."

Society says... "You could insert absolutely every single conflict that people have ever had, right here." Society says a lot, because people can "talk." It doesn't actually mean anything other than what we say it does, and somehow we always let it change everything. Your wonderful ability to "think." Why do you have it? Perhaps so you can understand me, and then we could work together, to get what we need from this world.

That's it folks, the whole meaning of life... each other. We need each other. We didn't get here alone, we can't survive on our own, by nature we simply survive, but together we manage to thrive. People are what's different in this world and we got this way by balancing our strengths and weaknesses together to make something stronger than even the earth we lived on.

Nobody was born to be a doctor. They were perhaps born with a healing hand, a sympathetic nature, and a sharp mind. We have turned this person into a "born doctor" to benefit our species and heal us when animals would simply walk away and move on. We are simply what we put into the world, and who we choose to share our lives with will either strengthen or weaken us. The rest is technicalities.

I was a good student in school. A friend first; a mother for 20 years and counting; a wife for 10 of that; a hard worker; a nurse; a manger in almost every situation I was employed. I've done what's expected, and I've shot for my dreams. I've had failures and successes in life, and there are moments I believe I have truly been "through it all this time." After all of it, the one thing I know to be true, is the "world" didn't get me here... I did. The people in my life, and the choices I made, got me where I am today, and the world kept turning everyday the exact same way.

We matter; you, me, every person matters when it comes to the survival of our species. Who we are, how we balance and support each other, defines the very evolutionary makeup of our species. Really think about this. For me to "thrive" another MUST survive. Without another I can ONLY survive. This reality is in every aspect of "human thinking." Without the human nature to "thrive" humans wouldn't survive.

A doctor wouldn't put themselves through abnormally impressive teenage study habits, 8 years of college, and then the stressful years of residency, because "they really like money." We all "really like money." They do it because, for whatever reason, being a doctor means something to them. That "reason" they did it, the reason we do absolutely anything, is the human nature to thrive and we absolutely can't ever have it "alone." A doctor cannot be a doctor if there's nobody there to heal. Every single thing we do relies on the reality of another for us to continue getting what we need. A writer wouldn't exist if there was nobody to share their stories with. There'd be no desire to travel the world, if nothing was built for us to see. You wouldn't be anything more than an animal grazing in a field all day, content with every aspect of life, if it weren't for your human desire to put "YOU" into this world, and allow someone else to experience it.

We need this as a species; that is the truth. In today's world, you may be a person who feels like they can't find their place in life, but no matter what, you are a person who has something to offer. You simply keep trying to "fit in" when people were born to stand out.

The following blog will discuss my theory on the "History of You" in the world.
